Arrests made following a string of break-ins
Two Thunder Bay residents have been arrested following a series of break-ins in the city’s south end.
Early Tuesday morning around 1:40 am, officers on patrol responded to a report of a break and enter taking place to a business on James Street South.
The responding officers found one of the windows of the front door was smashed and some merchadise was stolen.
The Break and Enter and Robbery Unit or BEAR became involved, and later that day the two suspects were arrested.
The police investigation found that the pair were involved in four break, enter and thefts in the same area between December 3 and 16.
A 36-year-old woman and a 32-year-old face a number of charges including four counts of break and enter and four counts of disguise with intent.
They remain in custody pending future court dates.
