Ice Dogs VP steps down
The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have a void on their executive board.
Vice president Joel Allen is resigning immediately.
Allen has been on the Ice Dogs board since the spring of 2024, when he was appointed at the team’s AGM.
Mike Sveinson is the team’s president and says Allen will be missed.
“I want to thank Joel for the remarkable work he’s done with the team, particularly the modern-era organizational chart, which I believe will have a lasting impact.
“I’d also like to tip my cap to a guy who has been there for the team in every way, shape, and form over the past couple of years.”
For the time being, the team say the position will remain vacant as it decides on a path forward.
