Fort Frances resident charged in 2023 overdose death
An arrest has been made in connection with an overdose death that occurred three years ago.
Provincial Police located a person in medical distress in a home in Fort Frances in June 2023, who was transported to hospital and pronounced dead.
As part of the investigation, an 18-year-old from Fort Frances was arrested in Thunder Bay and charged with drug trafficking.
Because the person was a youth at the time of the death, they can not be named.
The person remains in custody.
