Kenora OPP still trying to round up cattle from collision
The OPP are still trying to round up some cattle from an overturned transport on Sunday in the Inglis Road area of Highway 17.
A collision took place around 10 am and caused the cattle to break free from their trailer.
Police are advising the public not to hunt the cows.
The OPP say hunting the cows may result in charges under the Trespass to Property Act as well charges under the Criminal Code of discharging a firearm recklessly, theft and careless use of a firearm.
They add there is a plan in place to safely remove the remaining cattle from the area.
Anyone who comes across the cattle is asked to contact the Kenora OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
