One person killed on Highway 11/17 near Thunder Bay
The Thunder Bay OPP is investigating a fatal single vehicle collision early Sunday morning.
The accident took place just before 2 am on Highway 11/17 near Spruce River Road in Shuniah.
The 46 year old driver from Thunder Bay was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
A number of lanes on Highway 11/17 were closed several hours between Spruce River Road and the Terry Fox Lookout Road as the OPP investigation was conducted.
The lanes have since been reopened.
