Road closure as a result of work on Portage Bay Bridge
Another closure as a result of work being carried out on the Portage Bay Bridge.
A section of Tenth Street and Wharf Street is being closed to accommodate construction on the bridge.
The road will serve as a laydown area for equipment and materials.
The Keewatin Boat Launch, which has been closed since the fall of 2025, will reopen to the public as a result of the road closure.
While Portage Bay Bridge remains closed to traffic, boats will be allowed underneath the bridge while work is underway.
The closure of Wharf Street will remain in place for the duration of the project.
