Applications for Christmas hampers now accepted in Fort Frances
The Salvation Army in Fort Frances is preparing for Christmas.
It is now accepting applications for Christmas hampers at its Scott Street location during normal business hours.
Nearly 270 were distributed last Christmas.
The Salvation Army is expecting a similar response this year.
Anyone who wants a hamper this year is asked to bring ID for everyone in their household.
The hampers will be distributed in mid-December.
Local campaigns to help the Salvation Army stock the hampers are expected to get underway in the coming weeks.
