Arichat water tower cleaning planned this week
Arichat’s water tower will undergo cleaning and maintenance beginning Monday, October 5th, with work expected to continue until approximately Wednesday, October 7th.
Water service will remain available during the work, but residents may notice lower-than-normal water pressure or temporary discolouration.
The municipality says the tower will be empty throughout the cleaning process, meaning the system will not have its usual water storage capacity.
For that reason, residents are being asked to limit activities requiring large volumes of water while the work is underway.
The municipality says the maintenance is necessary to help maintain the water system and support the continued delivery of safe, reliable drinking water.
