Canada wins third gold at Winter Olympics
A third gold medal for Canada at the Winter Olympics in Milan.
The women’s long-track speed skating team of Valerie Maltais, Isabelle Weidemann and Ivanie Blondin defeated the Netherlands in the team pursuit.
It’s the second straight gold in that event for Canada, they won it in Beijing in 2022.
Canada now has three gold medals, four silver and five bronze at the games.
