Coney Island footbridge to be removed next week
It may not feel very-spring like, but the City of Kenora is getting ready for the season.
One of the jobs is to take out they Coney Island footbridge, after being in place all winter.
It is scheduled to be removed next Thursday, May 14th.
If the weather doesn’t permit, the walkway will be removed the week of May 17th.
The city says because the footbridge has to be taken out in one piece, big waves or heavy winds can made it difficult to remove.
