Downed power pole on Ketch Harbour Road causes delays
If you’re travelling on Ketch Harbour Road, expect delays.
Minister Brendan Maguire posted a photo on social media advising drivers to avoid the area as there’s a downed power line blocking the road between Portovista Drive and Chebucto Head Road.
Maguire says emergency and utility crews are on the scene, and that detours might be needed.
Nova Scotia Power reported the outage around 7:00 on Wednesday morning, noting that it was caused by damage to overhead equipment. About 600 customers are without power, with crews saying it’s expected to be restored by 2:15 p.m.
