First nomination received in Kenora for municipal election
Just one person has submitted nomination papers to the municipal election in Kenora this fall.
Cecile Marcino has submitted her name for city council.
Marcino is the former chair of the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
There are six positions available for a seat on city council.
August 21st is the deadline to submit nomination papers.
