NSFM kicks off spring conference in Yarmouth
The Town of Yarmouth will be bustling over the next couple of days.
Nearly 200 mayors, wardens and councillors are in Town discussing important topics.
The Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities kicked off the spring conference Wednesday which will run until Friday.
Neil MacKenzie with Yarmouth and Acadian Shores says the event brings lots of eyes on the region.
He says the intent is to have it in tourism shoulder seasons, with the CAT ferry season launching mid-May
Mayor Pam Mood says Yarmouth and Acadian Shores is proud to host the conference.
