Planned power outage in the Town of Antigonish on Friday morning
The Town of Antigonish is giving public notice for a planned power outage for Friday, April 17 from 12:30 a.m. to 6 a.m.
They say the outage will affect the following areas:
- Bay Street (between Haley Road and Adam Street)
- Sisters of St. Martha’s
- Fernwood Drive
- Mount Cameron Circle (civic numbers: 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 23, 25, 26, 27, 30, 35)
The Town says St. Martha’s Regional Hospital and Parkland Antigonish will not be impacted and there are no traffic control measures required.
The reason for the outage is to move power lines to the new poles which were installed on Tuesday.
