UPDATE: Search continues for missing newborn
Police continue to search for a newborn who has been missing since Friday.
An update from the Halifax Regional Police on Sunday said a woman remains in hospital in critical condition.
A release from police on Saturday said officers were notified Friday night of a woman in hospital in life-threatening condition who appeared to have just given birth.
Police and Nova Scotia Ground Search and Rescue were searching the area of 214 Willett St. in Halifax Saturday night.
Police have also asked the public to search their own properties and report anything suspicious.
Four people were in custody and being questioned on Saturday.
No charges have been laid at this point.
