Report of armed person prompts police response in Saint John
Saint John police responded to a report of an armed person in an east side neighbourhood Wednesday morning.
Not many details have been released, but police were involved in an operation on Cindy Lee Street near McAllister Place.
Police closed the street between Michael Crescent and Martha Avenue for a short time.
Residents were asked to shelter in place while the operation was underway.
The operation ended shortly before 11 a.m.
