Search continues for N.B. teen, five years later
It has been almost five years since 14-year-old Madison Roy-Boudreau went missing from the Bathurst area, but RCMP says their search continues.
Police say she was last seen getting into a grey Ford Ranger on May 11, 2021.
In August of the same year, her disappearance was ruled a homicide.
“Investigators have conducted multiple extensive searches in the Bathurst and Middle River areas involving specialized RCMP units, ground search and rescue volunteers, and numerous partner agencies. Together, these efforts have covered one of the largest search areas ever undertaken in an investigation of this kind in Canada,” RCMP Corporal Hans Ouellette stated in a social media post.
No charges have been laid in connection with Roy-Boudreau’s disappearance.
“Additional searches are expected as the investigation continues. We firmly believe that someone, somewhere, knows what happened to Madison,” Ouellette added.
