Shebandowan couple wins $2.1 million
Ken and Geri Little got a call Friday from the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital Foundation telling them they were the winners of the April 50/50 draw.
Moments into the call, Geri shared what their family is currently facing. “My daughter is having chemo right now and I have to go back to work and now I don’t have to, I get to stay here with her.”
They picked up a cheque for $2,182,137.
Proceeds from the 50/50 draw go to support better health care at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
