Students dismissed after bomb threat at Drumlin Heights
A bomb threat has been reported at Drumlin Heights Consolidated School.
The threat was discovered written on a bathroom stall, and the school immediately contacted police.
According to a post from the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education, the school evacuated the building out of an abundance of caution.
After school program staff are contacting parents and guardians to arrange pick up.
Last year, a similar incident prompted an evacuation, and after a sweep from RCMP they found the threat to be unfounded.
RCMP said they have finished sweeping the area, and found nothing dangerous, saying that this situation was “very similar to last year’s file”. They’ve since left the scene.
Police say there are currently no suspects.
