Partial closure of Kabetogama Lake boat launch scheduled this week
Boaters who use the Kabetogama Lake boat launch in Voyageurs National Park may experience delays this week.
The north lane of the launch is being closed to allow for the removal of equipment and boats used by construction crews this summer.
They have been working to replace an underwater power line to Kettle Falls.
The park says the south lane will be open, but users may experience delays and long lines.
Both lanes will be accessible by next weekend.
Additional partial boat launch closures are also expected in October, but exact dates have not been determined.
