Road closure at corner of William Street
The corner of William Street will be closed from Oct. 19 to Oct. 23 as demolition work begins on the Temple Baptist Church.
The building has been in disrepair for years, and the town says they’ll have safety measures in place as the building is being brought down.
Sections of the road near the church, as well as the sidewalk around it, will be blocked off for the public’s safety.
Fencing, barricades and flaggers will be in place to help manage traffic.
The town says they expect the closures to remain in place for approximately five days, but did not give an exact timeline.
