Quispamsis to begin major Hampton Road construction project
Drivers in Quispamsis can expect delays when a major construction project begins Monday.
The Reimagine Hampton Road project includes a redesign and infrastructure upgrade from Pettingill Road to McCarron Drive.
For this first phase, traffic will be reduced to one alternating lane with flaggers during the day.
Traffic lights will be in use between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
According to Saint John Transit, the work will also cause some delays for Comex Route 52.
The project is expected to take the rest of this construction season and continue in 2027.
