Clark’s Harbour hosting wharf party to welcome Bluenose II to town

The town of Clark’s Harbour is welcoming Canada’s most famous ship to town with a party.

They’ll be hosting a number of events when the Bluenose II comes to town on Sept. 2.

The fun starts at 10 a.m., and continues until approximately 6 p.m.. Visitors can expect food trucks, vendors, a magic show, face painting, balloon animals and more.

The decks of the historic Bluenose II are free to explore, but can be closed if weather conditions make it unsafe.

All the fun will go down on the West Head Wharf.

The Queen of the North Atlantic will leave the next morning on its way to Yarmouth, where it will spend a day in port before returning back to Lunenburg for maintenance.
