The Town of Yarmouth says to expect delays along Main Street at the north end of town.

Road work is continuing on Monday, September 28 from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m..

Northbound and Southbound lanes will alternate being closed between Chestnut Street and Prospect Street.

Paving and curb work began last week, and will continue so long as the weather is permitting according to the town.

Summer Street and Walker Street will be closed to everyone except local traffic, and detours will be made through Chestnut Street, Brunswick Street and Prospect street during each lane closure.

The town is also reminding everyone to slow down in the affected area and take extra precautions.
