CN train and plow truck make contact in northern Minnesota
No one was hurt following a collision involving a CN train north of International Falls.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says a county plow truck was clearing snow from a crossing near Orr when the train’s engine came in contact with the plow portion of the truck.
Only minimal damage was reported to the locomotive and plow truck.
The train was allowed to continue its journey after receiving mechanical clearance following an inspection by a CN representative who arrived on scene.
The plow truck was also able to leave on its own power.
