Nova Scotia sheriffs roll out new look

Starting this week, Nova Scotia’s sheriffs will be introducing their new uniforms.

They’re swapping from their old grey uniform shirt to a new midnight blue shirt.

The transition should be complete by mid-fall, but officers could be wearing either uniform until then.

The Nova Scotia sheriff FAQ’s say you can identify a sheriff or deputy sheriff by their shoulder flashes, and the word “sheriff” imprinted on the back and front left pocket of their uniform.
