well water

The Municipality of Shelburne is offering free water vouchers to residents with dry wells.

The vouchers are being offered through the drinking water relief program, and eligible community members are able to receive up to 4 litres of bottled water per person, per day.

The program begins on Aug. 4, but only residents of the municipality who have reported their dry well are eligible to receive the vouchers.

The vouchers can be picked up at the municipality office at 414 Woodlawn Drive, Shelburne. They are able to be redeemed at the Sobeys located at 115 King Street, Shelburne.

There is a maximum of 16 litres per day, and new vouchers can be picked up weekly between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
