Wind and rain cut power to thousands in N.S.
More than 8,400 are without power Sunday evening as high winds and rain batter Nova Scotia.
The majority of outages are on the southern tip of Nova Scotia.
According to the Nova Scotia Power outage map, it includes the Barrington Passage, Pubnico and Argyle areas.
The estimated time of restoration is 7:30 p.m.
