UPDATE: Hwy 11-17 reopens after serious crash
A Saturday morning crash on Highway 11/17 west of Kakabeka Falls had the highway closed or partially closed for much of the day.
The OPP says a truck and a car collided at Sistonen Corners. No word on the extent of the injuries but photos posted to social media show the car was heavily damaged.

The OPP posted on X.com early this evening both lanes were again open. For much of the afternoon traffic was delayed with alternating lanes were open while the investigation continued.
That stretch of highway has seen a number of serious crashes including one Wednesday that left one person dead.
