Air passenger service returns to Fort Frances, July 6th
North Star Air is scheduled to make its first flight to Fort Frances next month.
The town of Fort Frances says air passenger service starts on July 6th.
The service returns after an agreement between the town and the Thunder Bay-based air carrier was struck earlier this year, with the town committing $500,000 over the next two years to help offset any operating losses, and an additional $40,000 for marketing purposes.
Flights to and from Thunder Bay will be weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The public will get an opportunity to learn more about the service at an open house on June 18th.

There will also be an opportunity to win free flights.
