Little movement expected in New Brunswick gas prices
Only slight changes expected in gas prices as the Energy and Utilities Board makes its regular weekly adjustment.
An industry source said regular self-serve will drop about 0.2 cents a litre, bringing the maximum just under $1.97.
Diesel is expected to rise, but just 0.5 cents.
That pushes the maximum price up to a little more than $2.26.
In Nova Scotia, maximum regular self-serve prices currently range from about $1.94 to $1.96 per litre while diesel is selling for between $2.18 and $2.20 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the maximum prices are currently $2.01 a litre for regular self-serve, more than $2.32 per litre for diesel and about $1.72 per litre for home heating oil.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
