An unoccupied cabin south of International Falls has been destroyed by fire.

It happened on June 6th at about 2:30 p.m.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says firefighters from Cook, Orr and Buyck were called to the Crane Lake Road area, about 15 miles north of Cook, after reports of heavy dark smoke rising in the area.

Firefighters arrived to find a cabin fully engulfed in flames.

No one was injured, but the cabin was completely destroyed.

Several nearby buildings and a boat also suffered fire damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
