Yarmouth welcomes new Chief Administrative Officer from the Municipality of Barrington
The Town of Yarmouth is saying goodbye to long-time Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Jeff Gushue and welcoming in Chris Frotten to the role.
Gushue held the position for more than two decades, and is leaving the position to retire after what Yarmouth Mayor Pam Mood called “22 years of dedicated service”.
“This is a significant moment for our town as we prepare to say goodbye to someone who has been such an important part of our municipal leadership for over two decades,” said Mood in a press release. “I have had the privilege of working closely with Jeff and have seen firsthand the extraordinary commitment he has brought to this role.”
Mood went on to welcome Frotten to the role, saying she looks forward to working with him in the future.
Frotten will take over the role in December after spending the last eight years as CAO for the Municipality of Barrington.
“I’m honoured to be joining the Town of Yarmouth as CAO, and I appreciate the confidence council has placed in me,” said Frotten. “I’m excited to contribute to Yarmouth’s future and to the services that make a difference in its residents’ everyday lives.”
