Cocaine, firearms, cash seized during search of Couchiching First Nation home

One person is facing several charges following a search for illegal drugs in Couchiching First Nation.

Treaty Three Police say, with support from the Ontario Provincial Police, a search warrant was issued at a home in the community.

Officers found approximately 110 grams of cocaine, Canadian currency, firearms, other weapons, and items related to drug trafficking.

A 30-year-old man was arrested and was charged with several drug and weapons-related offences.

He was also found breaching a prohibition order related to the firearms and breaching a previous court order.

He is to appear in court at a later date.
