Students and staff at Eenchokay Birchstick School ordered to evacuate
There is a significant police presence near Airport Road in Pikangikum First Nation as officers respond to a reported threat.
Eenchokay Birchstick School has been evacuated and will be closed for the remainder of the day. The OPP investigation is ongoing.
The OPP is asking anyone with information to contact the Pikangikum Police at 1-888-310-1122 or provide information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Crime Stoppers tips can also be submitted on-line at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
