Women’s Walleye fishing tournament this weekend
The 12th annual Lake of the Woods Women’s Walleye tournament is on this weekend.
The one day event takes place on Saturday.
It’s considered the largest all-woman walleye tournament in Canada.
60 teams are competing in two divisions, one with a driver and one with women fishing on their own.
This is a catch and release tournament and the first boats will leave at 6:45 the city docks in fron the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion.
