Roll Call returns to Saint John for its sixth year
Car show Roll Call 2026 is expected to draw thousands of automotive enthusiasts, exhibitors and vendors from across Canada and the United States.
The event will take place at TD Station on July 4 and will feature indoor and outdoor vehicle displays, burnout exhibitions, a free sim-racing esports challenge, food vendors, an outdoor beer garden and hourly giveaways, among other attractions.
According to a news release, this year’s event is expected to be the largest yet, with more than 25 vendors participating.
The event is presented by Saint John-based automotive lifestyle brand Complex Union Automotive.
Owner Colin Cusack said the event, which began as a small gathering of car enthusiasts in 2021, has evolved into a “destination event” that attracts visitors to Saint John from across North America.
“Roll Call was created to celebrate automotive culture while supporting local businesses and contributing to the city’s economy,” Cusack added.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in interactive photo challenges, prize draws and giveaways.
The Saint John Police Force will also conduct a special traffic enforcement campaign during the event.
In a statement, the force said that through a combination of education and zero-tolerance enforcement, officers from the Saint John Police Force and New Brunswick’s Department of Justice and Public Safety will focus on offences under the Criminal Code and New Brunswick’s Motor Vehicle Act.
Enforcement efforts will focus on:
- managing traffic flow as vehicles exit the venue;
- conducting proactive patrols throughout the city; and
- operating checkpoints with a focus on impaired driving.
In the release, Deputy Chief Neal Fowler said the force looks forward to welcoming participants and spectators from across the region.
“Our officers will be accessible throughout the event to support a safe, respectful and enjoyable experience,” Fowler said.
Police are also encouraging attendees to drive responsibly, obey traffic laws and help make the event “a safe and memorable experience for all.”
