Lockdown lifted at Sackville High after possible threat, say RCMP
A lockdown has been lifted at Sackville High School after a possible threat.
In an updated post on social media around 11:20 a.m., Thursday, RCMP say officers have cleared the scene and say there was no threat to the building on Kingfisher Way.
It was around 11 a.m., when police asked the public to stay away.
Public advisory: RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is on scene at Sackville High School on Kingfisher Way responding to a possible threat at the school. Sackville High has been placed in lock down. Please avoid the area to allow officers to do their work. pic.twitter.com/qS9KKj4hih
