Dozens of vases stolen from graves at Pictou County cemetery
More than a dozen metal vases have been stolen from headstones at a cemetery in Sylvester.
On April 4, Pictou County RCMP responded to reports of the missing vases and went to the site on Alma Road, according to a news release.
They estimate more than 60 vases were stolen between March 21 and April 4.
Police say cemetery staff confirmed the vases were not taken during routine maintenance or upkeep.
They are asking anyone with information that may be able to assist investigators to contact Pictou County District RCMP at 902-485-4333 and reference file number 2026-434921.
